RUTHIMEX CATCHES THE TREND OF GREEN PRODUCTION THROUGH EFFICIENT USE OF MATERIALS AND ENERGY

Thong Nhat Rubber Company Limited (Ruthimex) proactively uses new raw materials in production along with investing in renewable energy, contributing to making Ruthimex a green, environmentally friendly factory.

 

 

With a total area of nearly 110,000 square meters, the entire system of 5 production factories and functional departments of Ruthimex need a large power source.

 

 

To reduce energy costs, since May 2021, Ruthimex has invested in solar power systems installed on the roofs of factories with a total initial capacity of 3MW, adding renewable power sources to the system of production and internal electricity, saving 30% of energy costs for production.

With focuses on standards such as “green factory” and “green product”, Ruthimex has initiated the search for new, green and environmentally-friendly materials to meet customers’ requirements in developed countries, applying high environmental standards.

 

 

The plastic injection machine of Ruthimex uses environmentally friendly raw materials from sugarcane and plastic mixture to mixing out the input rubber mixtures for technical rubber spare parts products. This product has met the requirements of customers in developed countries that apply high environmental standards.

 

 

Ruthimex regularly launches competition programs between internal factories and departments to create many green areas surrounding each factory's campus.

 

 

Now, visitors can easily recognize the Ruthimex factory campus as an overall green picture interspersed with rectangular blocks of solar cells blending in the natural greenery of trees, flower gardens, and small cottages. The landscape creates an extremely cool and fresh atmosphere, giving a feeling of closeness to nature.

 

 

According to environmental experts, green certification is a mandatory requirement set by many foreign partners for Vietnamese businesses that wish to participate more deeply in the global supply chain.
